Welcome to the creator economy. Who is a creator you ask, the simple answer - everyone. Your grandmother who knits a sweater or your sister who plays the guitar are all creators, but in this era, creators on the internet. The current advancement in technology and accessibility to the internet has made content creation possible on a device as inexpensive as a smartphone, which couldn’t be possible say 15 years ago. The online economy has been plagued by unauthentic content, which is a result of obligatory terms set by brands to launch ads through influencers for creators to earn money. But the evolution of social media has cut the middleman to connect creators directly to their audience. More is the founder of the hit digital media company “Mad Over Marketing” which works with organizations to curate a marketing campaign and connect it to its target audience to create the perfect marketing experience. An alumnus of St. Xavier’s College Kolkata, his talk was rated to be one of the most anticipated and cherished events of the day.
