Merle works at the cross-section of cognitive neuroscience and philosophy of mind while making use of exciting new technology (AI, mobile apps and Virtual reality). As well as a cognitive neuroscientist, she is also a mother of five and actively promote other women in science. She has published in high impact peer-reviewed journals but is equally committed to open science and clear science communication.
