An overview of Isaac's research project "From Perspective" which aims to provide end-of-life hospice patients with the opportunity to leave audio-recorded memories for their loved ones in a unique and interesting way. By sharing this work, we can also consider the memories and stories that we want to leave behind for others, while we have the opportunity to do so. By recording voice, we have the ability to capture inflections, accents and manners of speech that are so powerful in representing a sense of self that is unique to an individual. This talk will explore the different ways in which we are able to do this, asking the question, ‘’What’s a memory that you want to leave?’’ Isaac Gibson is an award-winning Northern Irish DJ, producer and sound designer. He has more than ten years of experience in the music industry and is currently studying a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen's University Belfast.
