But it's OK if you donโt function or feel your best with that kind of lifestyle! Instead, writer and activist Carl Honore ( suggests you should stop moving quickly and *start* slowing down. "It's the best thing you will ever do for yourself and the people around you," says Honore. But why? Because slowing your speed can benefit your health, increase your productivity, enhance your creativity and improve your quality of life! You can do this by being present with your family at dinner (with no TV or screen breaks!) to reevaluating your decisions at work, and even scheduling in some time blocks for breaks or focused work throughout the day!
