Oralhistory allows to experience human connection and expand the understanding of communities around. Dr. ElenaFoulis discusses the production of oralhistory based performances as an activity that enhances the sense of belonging, bicultural and bilingual experiences, and racial or ethnic identity.
ElenaFoulis is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. She is an oral historian who is committed to amplifying the voices of the Latine Community in Ohio.
