Futura started making his mark in the 1970s and ’80s among the likes of Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Kenny Scharf. Since the beginning, his mastery of color, geometric composition, and line, as well as his radical approach, progressiveness, and of-the-moment dynamism established him as a leading voice in the world of abstract art.
As a collaborator to brands like Louis Vuitton, Comme des Garçons, Chanel, Nike, Off-White, BMW, and Levi’s, Futura has refined his craft and explored nontraditional mediums, all while continuing to paint outside the lines. Futura is living proof that all it takes to create great art is a can of spray paint and an idea.
