用樂觀及熱情，建構高山安全網 Establish Mountain Safety Net Via Optimism And Passion : Shih-hao Wang : Tedxxinyi

大家熟知的王士豪是一位性格很開朗的急診醫師，穿著白袍，治病救人，但其實他還有另外一個身份——高山嚮導。在成為醫師之前，王醫師是一名登山愛好者。酷愛登山的他因為體能較好，經驗豐富，成為了一名高山嚮導。但在此過程中，王醫師經歷過朋友突發高山病的情況，因此他產生濃厚的好奇心，非常想要弄明白這個疾病。因此，他選擇成為一名急診醫師，研究高山病的發病機制以及急救方法。王醫師在大會上分享了他們的創新解決方案——通過建立加壓艙高山安全網，這一項全球性的獨特想法，可以非常有效地救治瀕臨死亡的嚴重高山病患。在演講結尾，王醫師分享了他歷經多次努力才考取醫師證書的經歷，鼓勵大家要以樂觀的心態面對困難，說不定你就是下一個能實現自己夢想的人。

Listen to doctor and mountaineer Shih-Hao Wang shares how optimism gives him the stability he needs to help patients and stranded mountain climbers alike in times of urgency.

Many people know that Dr. Shih-Hao Wang is an optimistic emergency room doctor, as he wears his white coat every day to save people’s lives. However, Dr. Wang has an alter ego- a hiking guide. Before Dr. Wang became a doctor, he loves hiking and cultivated the helping mind for the great contribution about the causes of altitude sickness. He chose to be an emergency room doctor, specializing in altitude sickness treatment protocol and acute treatment. Dr. Wang was able to share some basic tips to assist people with altitude sickness. Through developing a portable hyperbaric chamber, it can be effective in treating acute altitude sickness symptoms. This invention is first of its kind in the world. This is very effective for extreme cases of altitude sickness, where the patients are usually near death. At the end of Dr. Wang’s talk, he was able to share his difficult journey in becoming a doctor. He encourages everyone to use an optimistic attitude to face difficulties in life.
