You may feel like children today are always switching between screens: from scrolling on their phone to using their computer and watching TV. You may even be worried that they can’t hold their focus long enough to pay attention at school. Hence, it might be highly possible that it gets even worse while growing up and having to handle an actual job in the future.

The Neuroscientist, Emma Louise Louth, will shed some light on the inner functioning of the brain and provide insights into the attention span of children in the current age of fast-paced modern technology and social media. Emma is a scientist and the author of Opmærksomhed in the Tænkepauser book series. Her way into science started by studying Biomedical Science and Psychology to investigate how brain cells communicate and the mechanisms behind learning, memory and attention.
