Teri took on the role of a caregiver advocate after her husband was diagnosed with an incurable disease in 2012. Sharing stories of courage and compassion is an integral part of the talks she gives to help caregivers understand their role and cope, especially when the end of their caregiver journey is in sight. Her talk encourages people to re-evaluate how we view death, as she asks “Can We Live Better By Talking About Dying?”.
